Sandboxie Protection from rogue software, spyware and malware.

Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation program.
It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive.

How to know your browser is running in the sandbox.
Simply run your mouse to the very top of the browser and it should show a yellow box around the browser.

Sandboxie makes surfing the web really secure and safe: you can always be relaxed and be sure that no malware can infect your system. Also, while surfing, various temporary files, cookies, cache, etc, are created and downloaded to the computer. All the aforementioned remain inside Sandboxie and can be easily cleaned by deleting the Sandboxie contents, and without worrying about where to look for them on your computer. Just one click to delete the Sandboxie contents, and it's all gone.

The biggest benefit is the peace of mind, and assured security, which is offered by the excellent protection of Sandboxie. Even if you come across a malware inside Sandboxie, there is no need to worry.Deleting the contents of Sandboxie is all that is required to get rid of any malware encountered.

When a program is running inside Sandboxie, the main window will show the list of programs/processes running currently inside Sandboxie, and the icon will change to yellow with red dots.

Sandboxie contents can also be set to delete automatically via settings. Right click on the sandbox and select delete to empty each time you close the browser.

And if you do want to download and safe a file you can use the recovery function to save it outside the sand box.

Other benefits is it keeps your hard drive clean as it deletes every every time. Also unwanted tool bars
that may be added will go away when the browser is closed.

Note:
After 30 days when you open your browser it will pop up a box asking you to buy it or continue to run
on the free version.

Sandboxie is not a replacement for security software, like antivirus, or anti-malware programs. Therefore, it is advised to keep the system updated and patched, and also install a good antivirus, and keep it updated.

Sandboxie is released under a proprietary End-User License Agreement (EULA). Two functions of the software in the free unregistered version of Sandboxie are blocked: automatically running programs under Sandboxie, and parallel usage of multiple sandboxes. After a 30 day period, users of the unregistered free version will encounter popups advising the user to register (buy) the product when loading.
