To report a Impostor Facebook Account

Scam artists can take your profile info and pictures and create an impostor account.

Thankfully, Facebook has a simple way for victims to report it.

To report an impostor account, go the Impostor's page and click the “…”  located in the bottom right corner of the cover photo (which might even be your cover photo). Then click “Report,” and follow the instructions for notifying the site.
If the impostor has blocked you from getting to the fake account in your name? There are ways around that, too. You can ask a Facebook friend to file a report for you.

You need to set Amazon Advertising Preferences

What are personalized ads? Login to Amazon.
Double click on your name, Advertising Preferences, Select Do not personalize and submit.

Firefox Quantum:  runs slow & freeze issues

go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > privacy & security panel and under permissions check the setting to prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.

We have found this seams to help both issues.

Firefox shows loading in task manager but never loads.

 

You click on Firefox and it never loads.  

 Start it in safe mode and reset it.

 Open a command prompt  (CMD) and type at the Dos screen type  

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode and the press enter.
If this command fails to run check and make sure the location its installed and add the -safe-mode
at the end of the command.

 

Then select Refresh Firefox. 

In most cases this will remove any issues that prevent Firefox from loading.

Having items you have searched for on Amazon show up on other sites.

If you have a Amazon account and look at items or search for items they can be added to a wish list on Amazon. Anyone can search e-mail address or name, or even search your Facebook friends

to find what you have done and share to the world. 

Amazon Defaults the wish list to Public and this is open for anyone to see/use.

 

To Change the setting Login & click on Account & List under your name to show the list below and then click on Wish List.

To Change it click on List settings

Under Privacy tab click on Private and Submit.

Now your searches are hidden and no one can see them.

Are you getting windows 7 update error 80080005 when just installing Windows 7 

and then try to run updates?

 

Here's a quick fix.
Open your registry editor (regedit)
* Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
* Edit the RegistrySizeLimit key
* Set the value to 4294967295 in decimal ffffffff in hex
* Reboot

 

or create win7_fix.reg file
like this and double click on it.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control]
"RegistrySizeLimit"=dword:ffffffff

After this windows update should run fine. Power down sometimes works better.
